These babies used to sleep. They used to sleep really well. "All night!" I would brag to friends. "Both of them!" Now, they do not sleep. Travel. Jetlag. Teething. They have become terrible sleepers. One of them is next to me on the couch right now because we were tired of her screaming at us from the bedroom. Luckily they are so so cute that we forget about the horrors of the night pretty quickly (until the next night comes).
I have so many summer outfits I should go back and post from Australia, and perhaps I will, but for now we are back in Bay Area winter where my girls get to dress in fabulous layers like all Bay Area cool kids do. Here's what they wore toady for a walk to a new lunch place in town.
Last, but definitely not least, tiny jean jackets by Levi's. Irresistible.
These onesies are some of my favorites. Long-sleeved H&M patterned bodysuits. These are sized 2-4 months and they definitely can't fit in them very well anymore, so I just ordered more in the 6-9 month size. I've been totes impressed with the quality of these bad boys, and we've worn them A LOT. I also like the snap on the shoulder for easy on and off.
Pants-wise, we have a Zulily find. If you don't already use Zulily and you think you might want to, please use this link. We'll both get a little bonus if you do! :) I love Zulily and I look at it almost daily. There is a LOT of terrible stuff, but then also some real gems. It feels sort of like thrift store shopping or digging through the used bins at a record store. I love that stuff. . Changes daily - good prices - a lot of the clothing equivalent of Hootie and the Blowfish, but then some rare amazing finds.
ANYHOW, the brand on these bad boys is Free Spirit and I can find no evidence of its existence outside of Zulily, so I dunno! But the more you shop there, the more you see repeats,so they will likely pop up again. They are nice and cozy, but they run quite small. These are sized at 9 months, and the girls can barely squeeze into them as smaller than average 6-monthers. Get a closer look at them here and here.
